I had a truly serene and peaceful stay at Baantawan Guesthouse. The location by the river was simply breathtaking, and the beautiful gardens added to the idyllic setting. I was able to relax and unwind in the charming Lanna style wooden architecture, which added a touch of authenticity to my experience. The strong, hot shower was a welcome luxury after a long day of exploring. Despite a few minor cleanliness issues, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this guesthouse for its perfect location and tranquil ambiance.

Located along the river pai so it comes with beautiful atmosphere and the owner was very kind/helpful. Garden and outdoor furnitures were well maintained. Breakfast was simple, but it was pretty nice. Easy access to Pai town, only a 5-10minute to walk away.

The surroundings of Baantawan Guesthouse are simply stunning located at the riverside still right in town close to all in minutes walking, rooms are spotless and gorgeous... But most of all their service is superb, unfortunately I got sick on my visit to Pai but I could not have wished for a better place to recover, staff was making sure my stay was as comfortably as possibly, they drove us to the hospital without hesitation and always asked how things were progressing, besides the guesthouse is the perfect location to regain strength in a quiet lush environment the sun greets you while birds sing, simply lovely.

Staff were very friendly and helpful the whole time. When I accidentally left my camera lens cap at a hot springs in Pai, they got it delivered to the next hostel I was staying at (in Chiang Mai) free of charge! Great service! Room was also spacious and location is 5 mins walk from the centre of town.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Baantawan Guesthouse in Pai for a business trip, as it was chosen by my director. I must say, it was an excellent choice to explore Pai or simply relax and rejuvenate.

our stay at the guesthouse was like a peaceful oasis by the river. the owners were incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. their advice and arrangements for our trips were spot on. the location was perfect, close to town but still serene. highly recommend!

I couldn't have asked for better value for my money at Baantawan Guesthouse. The room was great, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The location by the river was amazing, close enough to walk everywhere but still peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me, even giving me a ride to my motorbike when I had trouble with a language barrier. The beautiful courtyard and porch on the bungalow were perfect for relaxing.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better is more variety in the choices.

Absolutely beautiful old Thai style property with spacious cottage rooms on the river front, including a surprisingly large bathroom. Conveniently located within a short walking distance from the bustling walking street, yet situated on a quiet road. The friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond, even offering to drive us to the bus station upon our checkout. We were incredibly grateful for the upgrade to one of the bungalows, which offered breathtaking views of the river from the porch. The peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the lively bar scene. The included breakfast was a delightful spread on both days of our stay. The location was ideal, close enough to walk to everything but far enough for tranquility. The staff member named Pook demonstrated kindness and compassion by personally assisting a friend who had a scooter accident, daily driving her to the hospital for wound cleanings, refusing any payment. Set amidst stunning surroundings, the reception staff made us feel welcome and ensured our stay was enjoyable. The clean bungalow was serviced daily, with fresh towels and water provided. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
